About - Popa Falls Camp is your gateway to the north eastern corner of Namibia. With its perennial rivers, magnificent indigenous woodlands, riverine forests, floodplains and reed-lined channels this is a completely different landscape from most of Namibia.
The 'falls' at Popa Falls are in fact a series of cascades created by a quartzite ledge that causes the river to split into numerous channels which can be accessed on foot from Popa Falls Rest Camp.
Accommodation - Built on the southern banks of the Kavango River from local timber and thatch; the small, secluded camp offers simple but comfortable accommodation in idyllic surroundings.
Camping at Popa Falls is provided by ten (10) simple campsites set alongside the Popa Falls with a communal kitchen.
Rooms and chalets at Popa Falls - Rooms at Popa Falls are split into River Cabins. River Chalets and Luxury Units.
The luxury units at Popa Falls can sleep two (2) adults and have a fridge, kettle and TVs.
Both Popa Falls River Chalets and Popa Falls River Cabins can sleep two (2) adults per chalet and have fridges, kettles and hairdryers.
The Popa Falls River Chalets have bush facing views with a braai area, while the Popa Falls River Cabins have river facing views.

Popa Falls is the ideal base from which to explore the Mahango Game Park where a wide variety of wildlife species, including elephant, hippo, buffalo, crocodile, red Lechwe, reedbuck, roan and sable antelope, and if you're lucky, even the elusive Sitatunga antelope can be observed. In addition to the animals over 450 species of bird have been recorded so this is a paradise for birdwatchers.
Fishing at Popa Falls - Tigerfish, Threespot and Green Headed tilapia are just some of the species of game fish that occur in the Kavango River making it a popular destination for anglers.
