Opened in 2019, this stylish lodge provides a luxurious retreat amidst the stark beauty of the Namib Desert. Please note that Dead Valley Lodge does not cater for young children (under six years old).
Accommodation - Dead Valley Lodge features 20 free-standing luxury tented chalets that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The beautiful architecture and decor bring the desert indoors, enveloping you in comfort and style. Every chalet is equipped with climate control and boasts panoramic views of the surrounding desert, ensuring a serene and immersive stay.
Facilities - Guests can indulge in authentic Namibian cuisine at the lodge's first-class restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Activities - Being located within the park, Dead Valley Lodge offers guests a head start to experience early morning sunrises over some of the world's largest dunes at Sossusvlei. The lodge provides morning and afternoon game drives to Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon, as well as guided walks and sunset drives to the nearby Elim Dune. For photography enthusiasts, the unique landscapes of Deadvlei and the towering dunes present exceptional opportunities to capture the desert's beauty.
